I am a visual communicator — an Artist and Multimedia Designer based in Winnipeg, Canada.
My art spans various disciplines, including digital photography and graphic design, which I explore in a contemporary art form. Through my work, I capture familiar elements of our world that become symbolic, even iconic when reimagined pictorially. As a co-founding member of the Frost Shield Kerfuffle artist collective, I find strength in collaboration. Our adage, “We huddled together to stay warm” fuels our shared pursuit of artistic excellence.
In photography, I explore industrial/consumer environments and dystopian landscapes. When industry clumsily encroaches on nature or where a landscape dotted with empty signs becomes innocuous, I invite the viewer to reconsider our fabricated scenery.
With over two decades of experience in multimedia design, my skills range from creating technical diagrams, logos, and posters to video production, animation, and interactive eLearning. My artwork, inspired by the world of design, focuses on clear messages that have lasting recognition or confronts that desire to interpret the abstract.
My artistic journey is defined by a profound desire to communicate ideas visually, embracing diverse mediums and styles to create impactful and thought-provoking experiences for viewers.
